Greetings, Sigma Chi Undergraduate Brothers!
Welcome to The New York City Alumni Chapter.
Let’s start with the basics. You are in college to build post-grad financial & personal success. Sigma Chi is here to help you make the most of your undergrad Sigma Chi experience. The alumni chapters are your connection to your future.
For You, as a Sig undergrad, Sigma Chi is about current social & professional connections with 16,000 undergrad brothers at over 230 campuses… and 260,000 alumni at 150 clubs… everywhere you will be. To get the full view of what Sigma Chi has to offer, get familiar with the Sigma Chi website - sigmachi.org.
If the New York area is where you now or hope to live post-grad, the NYC Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter is here to provide you Sigma Chi advantages right now and when you graduate.
What is the NYC Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter?
We are the social & professional home of over 15,000 area Sigma Chi Alumni. We serve diverse brother interests - different professions; different lifestyles - single new grads, married with kids, retired, etc… and undergrads with NYC roots. We have a social home - Slattery’s in midtown Manhattan. We meet monthly for brother’s nights, mixers with sororities and special events - including Derby Days and our Holiday party. We football tailgate for our Columbia Sig brothers (Sigma Chi is the fraternity of the team). Since the strongest connections are between brothers from the same college chapters, we help make and grow these relationships.
We are developing professional support & networking groups. We engage with our NYC community, thru service projects. Most importantly we are here to provide the full spectrum of Sigma Chi brotherhood. Check out all of what the NYC Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter is about via our website - nycsig.org or our social media. As NYC Chapter president, you can also reach me via email - email@example.com.
The most direct connection to being first in line for the benefits of being a NYC Sigma Chi is engagement. There are many leadership positions, drawing from brother’s talents & interests. These are great opportunities for our newest alumni.
Just what do we have to offer you as an undergrad right now?
Being a Sigma Chi began when you accepted initiation into Sigma Chi. From that day it became a two-way commitment - from Sigma Chi to you - and from you to being engaged with Sigma Chi’s efforts to support your success.
The New York City Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter is here to help encourage and support both commitments.
We look forward to hearing from you and to having you as part of the NYC Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter.
